Nicole Bruno, LMSW is a licensed master social worker in Arizona. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Dual-Master’s Degree in Social Work and Public Administration from Arizona State University. Nicole has experience working with adults and adolescence regarding loss of a loved one, bereavement issues, life phase adjustment issues, mental health and alcohol/drug addiction disorders with adolescence and adults. Nicole has experience in inpatient, outpatient and private practice settings.

 

Nicole’s diverse interests in social work and caring for people give her a wide range of experience in different settings and therefore she has been exposed to many different populations and modalities to help people receive healing and closure from loss in life. 

Nicole’s therapy style is based on meeting the Client where he or she is and finding helpful ways together to overcome a loss of a loved one and traumatic issues from life events. Nicole uses a variety of modalities which include:  trauma based therapy, grieving and loss, CBT for cognitive restructuring, EMDR, solution focused brief therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness and other alternative and healing modalities such as music therapy, dance therapy, pet therapy, expressive arts, yoga and drama therapy.

Nicole loves helping people transform their lives for the better and thus transforming the world as a whole. She helps people find meaning and purpose in their lives when they struggle to reconnect with who they really are in life. Nicole is also a dedicated yoga teacher in the community, offering gentle and relaxing styles to heal the mind, body and spirit.
